In December of 2000, the Ministry of Health Korea accredited The Korean Incorporated Association for Temporomandibular Joint. To benefit the members of this society, an alliance will be formed to exchange research information about the temporomadibular joint. In addition, there will be communications at international level. Finally, this body will educate dentists and the public regarding the pathologies of the temporomadindibular joint via the internet and public presentations. With these functions, the society has a goal to increase the oral heath of Korean citizens.
